About Move With Me: baby yoga (pre-crawling)

Move With Me: baby yoga (pre-crawling) classes are fun, informative and relaxing, using music and rhymes throughout. We teach you a whole range of different moves, sequences and songs to enjoy during the class with your baby, but also so you can feel confident practising at home together. These classes are not just about baby; ease your way back into exercise after the birth of your baby and discover how yoga can help you to stretch, strengthen and tone your body and restore your sense of well being. We also encourage time and space for relaxation at the end of each class, which is always welcomed by both adult and baby after the physical activity of the session. The classes are perfectly designed to suit babies from around 3 months old up until they crawl. There is no prior yoga experience required to enjoy our baby yoga classes, they are completely inclusive to all.

Hello! My name is Alex and I run Basking Babies in Southend and Leigh. I am a mum to 3 children; Anna, Anthony & Eleanor & I attended baby massage courses with all of them. I decided to go to Basking Babies with my youngest & I just loved the course and walked away from our last session thinking that one day, I would love to deliver baby massage to new mums. An opportunity came up that I couldn’t turn down, so now here I am!

I just love the benefits that baby massage has for both babies and mums. From bonding and special 1:1 time, to relieving ailments such as colic and constipation. Baby massage is so beneficial and I would love for you to join me in class so I can teach you these special techniques, as well as giving you the opportunity to meet other new mums & have some tea & cake! I’m sure you will go away feeling confident and empowered to massage your baby at home.
