About Nurture Me (Part 1): Baby Massage

This course is suitable for babies from birth to active crawling. You will learn a full body baby massage routine to enjoy with your baby along with all the benefits of baby massage, a Colic Alleviation & Prevention routine, settling techniques and much more. The classes are relaxed, friendly and informative and run in a ‘home from home’ environment. We always say that babies are in charge in our classes, so you never have to worry if baby wants a feed, nappy change or a sleep at any point. You should just feel free to meet baby’s needs as you wish. Included in the price of the course, you will receive a bottle of our Basking Babies organic baby massage oil, a Basking Babies cotton bag, professional handouts and refreshments. There is therefore nothing specific that you need to bring to the class, other than a towel for your baby to lie on (or you can purchase one of our Basking Babies towels from your instructor). Once you have completed this course you will be able to join our unique weekly More Massage & Baby Reflexology classes where you can continue to gain the benefits of baby massage, enjoy the group environment and get support from a qualified instructor.

Hi, my name is Emma. I am a qualified baby massage instructor and mum to four children; Jayden, Kyla, Tarell and Amari. I came to Basking Babies with my youngest son because I felt that in a house full of children, I wasnt getting enough time to just stop and soak up every bit of my new baby. Baby massage classes enabled me to have that one to one bonding time, relax with other mums (with a yummy slice of cake – which is never a bad thing!) and then continue what I had learnt in class and create that lovely time at home for us.

I found it fascinating that through massage, I could help ease any pain or discomfort he may be feeling with teething, constipation and many more things, aswell as stimulate brain development! I quickly realised that baby massage is such an amazing tool to have as a parent and have continued to use it with my children over the years.

I am passionate about supporting other mums and empowering them to trust themselves in this journey of motherhood. Being a parent isn’t easy, but with using our instincts and having support from others, it can make all the difference. I hope that you can feel that when coming to my classes and use it as an opportunity to relax and enjoy.
