Hello! My name is Heather,

I am a qualified baby massage instructor and thrilled to run Basking Babies Benfleet & Rayleigh. Having worked in London for nearly 15 years, I had my gorgeous cheeky little boy Lenny in 2019…….wow, what a life changer!

I loved baby massage with Lenny, it was a class we enjoyed during the early stages of getting to know each other and a skill we both still enjoy. The classes were so relaxed, gave us bonding time and taught us a good routine for home too. Now I understand further the benefits of baby massage since becoming an instructor. It is amazing how baby can be helped through touch, whether that be to settle, relax, ease pain and many more! The class was also beneficial for me as a new mummy, the first months can be tough and overwhelming….being able to go somewhere and relax and speak to other mums with a drink and cake was invaluable! I’m incredibly passionate about Basking Babies and in creating a happy baby and happy grown-up and am 100% here to support you.

I took my baby to his first massage session at 5 weeks old. Heather was a fantastic teacher and the classes were a great mix of relaxed and informative. The room was easy to find and nice and warm for the babies. My little boy is loving having a massage encorporated into his bedtime routine and I really feel it has helped him begin to sleep through the night. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I really enjoyed attending this baby massage course. Heather was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great opportunity to meet other mothers and get help and advice from them as well. Heather never rushed the class and allowed us to ask questions and have conversations. I would definitely recommend this class to other people.

Heather was amazing! She took the time to get to know everyone and was really knowledgeable about not only the class she was delivering but also about what was going on in the local area and tips from her own experiences. The course itself was fantastic and my little boy loved every second of it. Massage really helped soothe him in the evenings as well as help relieve him when he had tummy issues.
