Owner & Founder of Basking Babies
Basking Babies is my passion. My aim is to support and empower women to run successful, yet family friendly, businesses that support and empower parents through their early parenting journey.
I have developed a comprehensive support system for our franchisees, which enables them to provide excellent classes for our clients. I continuously review and improve our systems, processes and materials to ensure that we are always delivering the highest possible standard of classes and being the best we can possibly be at all times.
I manage the recruitment process of new franchisees, so if you’re interested in joining our team please get in touch.
I joined as the Operations Manager here at Basking Babies in November 2020.
As a mum of 3, I completely understand the desire to find work that works for you, allowing you to be there for your family’s important milestones whilst still having your own income and a job you love. I’m passionate that Basking Babies, and the unique classes that are offered, can do all of this and more.
My role is to work alongside Carla, behind the scenes, overseeing the day-to-day business operational activities, including marketing, PR, partnerships and support to ensure that the Basking Babies franchisees are successful in running their own businesses. This in turn ensures that we are always delivering the highest quality classes possible.
Franchisee Support Manager
I am the Franchisee Support Manager for our wonderful team here at Basking Babies. I first became involved with Basking Babies in 2014, when I wanted a new career challenge that worked around my son Charlie, and was lucky enough to meet Carla.
I haven’t looked back, I ran two successful franchises for a number of years before moving into Head Office. My role now involves supporting the franchisees, with regular calls, 6 monthly reviews, audits and regular training sessions. I absolutely love what I do and my experience from being a franchise owner myself goes a long way in allowing me to support and understand what our franchisees need to make their businesses the best they can be. I feel very lucky to be part of such an inspiring and supportive team.
I joined as the Operations Assistant here at Basking Babies in August 2021.
Having worked as a Strategic Director for Giftcards for over 10 years, my role at Basking Babies is a breath of fresh air! Now I have the time to really be there for my kids and still keep my brain working using the skills I have learned from my previous role. Carla’s management style and company ethos epitomises how businesses should be run and I am excited to be part of her team and Basking Babies’ continued success!
